Darin did a good job on regrading our driveway and asphalting it. All the people working on the job were helpful. There were some delays due to weather and availability of materials.
SubGrade did a great job at my property. It was not a big job but Darin and his team were happy to do. They dug out a parking area, took away the soil and laid metal down and rolled. I have used SubGrade in the past for a subdivision we did and concreting at another property and would highly recommenced Darin and his team at SubGrade.
Darin did a great job on our shared driveway. He quoted pre-Covid, we delayed the job 12 months, and he still kept to his quoted price. He was easy to communicate with, nothing was a problem, gave us plenty of useful advice along the way, and delivered a great result in the end. Completed a very steep and winding shared driveway of 830m2 (as well as our side path and parking bay) through Titirangi bush, along with the challenges of weather / lockdowns / access.

Darin was professional and easy to deal with throughout our complex driveway project involving six households, never once losing his cool. During the preparation stage he redid the base at his own cost after storm damage, without complaint. Great result at a reasonable price. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.
Overall great job at a good price. There was a significant rain event in the middle of it, which contractors dealt with at their expense and got the job done. Overall very we’re very pleased with the end result.

Was very good experience in general but few works were not done with first day but thats ok. One thing that remains undone until today is the vegetation from the other entrance at 52 upper queen st but thats ok because we have covered it with fence so shouldnt be a big problem but that was agreed and I mentioned it when the works were undergoing.
A couple of small communication hiccups to start with, but easily rectified. Darin and his team were great. Easy to deal with, hardworking, positive bunch of guys.
